From there, follow to the green line towards Cais do Sodré, and exit in Rossio. Follow the Praça da Figueira indications, and catch the bus number 737. The bus route takes no longer than 10 minutes, and you should leave in the last station. From there, walk up to Rua Santa Cruz do Castelo ( 140m ). You can also arrive by tram, number 12, in Praça da Figueira or tram 28 in Martim Moniz (the route is longer).

By car: The car access to Rua Santa Cruz do Castelo is highly controlled, so our advice is to park in one of the many parking lots in the sorrounding areas.

By bus: The long distance bus terminal is located in Sete Rios, where you can find buses and trains to reach several locations in the country. There, you can catch the subway blue line towards Santa Apolónia and exit in Baixa-Chiado. From there, you can take the elevators to the castle. You can also exit in Restauradores and walk to Praça da Figueira. Catch the bus number 737. The bus route takes no longer than 10 minutes, and you should leave in the last station. By foot: If you come from Rossio/Praça do Comércio, or Baixa-Chiado, you can take the free elevator in Rua dos Fanqueiros, nº 170/178, and exit in Largo Adelino Amaro da Costa ( Largo do Caldas). From there, you take the panoramic elevator ( also free ) from the old market in Chão do Loureiro. Exiting the elevator, walk approximately 500m along Rua Costa do Castelo, towards the Castle entry, passing by the school of circus arts, Chapitô.
